Anyone involved in creating eLearning knows the big dilemma of choosing authoring tools that are appropriate for each different course and effort. It can take quite a lot of time and that decision may affect the final product directly and even dictate its quality and structure.

Schoox has a great compilation of links leading to authoring tools. Useful to anyone creating courses and deploying them.

This page also lists a few SCORM compliant tools for authoring eLearning (although the authors are interested in tools that can be used in conjunction with Moodle, these can be used for content integrated to other LMSs).
